Graveside Service $750.00 (to be added to the price of the casket you choose from our selection)
Our Service Includes:
Minimum services of Funeral Director and Staff
Removal of deceased from place of death (home, nursing home or hospital) or autopsy facility (within our service area)
Refrigeration of the body prior to burial (3 days of refrigeration are included in the package price. Additional days will be charged at $50 per day)
Dressing and casketing the deceased
Filing of the death certificate and Social Security notification
Transportation of deceased to the cemetery of your choice (within our service area) in a Suburban in lieu of a hearse. *note (we do not provide a separate vehicle to transport flowers)
A register book for the graveside service
Assistance with placing short obituary notices in local newspapers
Charges that are not included in our graveside service price but are available upon request
Paid Obituaries (charges vary per newspaper). We will forward an obituary and a photograph (JPEG format) that you have prepared and emailed to us. A credit card is required to submit paid obituaries.
Certified copies of the death certificate (varies per Registrar, but $21.00 for the first certified copy and $4.00 for each additional copy is average)
Casket flowers
Embalming (this includes additional preparation due to an autopsy or organ/tissue donation).
Cemetery expenses such as a grave space, opening and closing fees, outer burial container (if required by your cemetery), grave marker, cemetery association fees, etc.
Although we do not arrange memorial services these are some expenses that you would incur when arranging a memorial service (flowers, clergy, facility, musician/soloist, etc.).
