Q. Can I prearrange my cremation service with Heart of Texas?
A. YES. The cost of our professional services and merchandise will be frozen at
the current price. Our crematory fee is not frozen and is subject to change if fuel
charges increase in the future.

Q. What is an unfinished fiberboard cremation container?
A. This is the container that the deceased is placed in prior to the cremation
process. Texas Health and Safety Code Sec. 716.151 requires the use of a
cremation container that is combustible, covers the body, is rigid, and protects
the health and safety of crematory personnel.
Q. What is a "temporary container"?
A. A "temporary container" is a container that the cremated remains are placed
in so they may be returned the family. Our "temporary container" is a hard plastic
box.
Q. Can I purchase a decorative urn from Heart of Texas?
A. Yes you can. Click on the "Urn" tab on the Home Page and you will see the
various urns that we offer. The urns are available plain or with engraving,
appliques' or medallions.
Q. What is the cremation weight limit for Heart of Texas?
A. We handle cremations up to 325 pounds.
