Q. How are your prices so low?
A. Prices at Heart of Texas were established based on the use of technology,
consumer participation, and low operating overhead. The combination of these
components allow Heart of Texas to provide high quality service to the people in
our service area at extremely low prices.
Q. I really like the prices at Heart of Texas but would like to pay a little
more and have a service at my church. Is that possible?
A. No. The two services that we offer are graveside services and direct
cremations.
Q. Do your charges cover my cemetery expenses?
A. No. You are responsible for the purchase of a grave space if you use a
private cemetery as well as the charge to open and close the grave. Your
cemetery may require the use of an outer burial container (grave liner or vault).
You are responsible for meeting your cemetery's requirements.
Q. Do I pay for a grave space at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery?
A. No. The Veterans Administration provides the grave space, the concrete
grave liner, the opening and closing of the grave, and a headstone at no cost to
eligible veterans, their spouse and eligible dependant children.
